Local activities include walking, swimming, horse riding, canoeing and climbing, with the Black Mountains to the south and Offa s Dyke passing through the town. Other attractions include Tretower Castle (18 miles), Llangorse Lake (13 miles) and the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre (11 miles).
