The pretty village of Llangynidr is a bustling spot for holidaymakers and locals to enjoy the surroundings. The village is set on the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal and you can see many narrowboats passing through. There are two pubs and a shop within 300 metres of the cottage, and there is access to the Taff Trail cycle trail and the Brecon Beacons National Park from the village. The market town of Brecon is 10.5 miles from here and you can also visit some of the area s most popular attractions such as Tretower Court and Castle, which is 4 miles away. An impeccable and traditional stone cottage, this property is bound to impress. The living room has flagstone floors and an original coal burning oven that is still in working order. The features don t stop there, with original beams throughout and a flight of original stone stairs leading to the first floor, which are now used as a feature. There is a dining table and chairs and a kitchen with a oven and hob to prepare food in the more modern way. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor and both bedrooms are upstairs. You can also see the Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal and The River Usk from the windows. The exterior of the property is even more of a winner. The garden is vast and features plenty of trees and plants with benches throughout to sit and enjoy. There is a stone patio area with wooden garden furniture and BBQ so you can enjoy the wildlife while dining alfresco. To one side of the garden is a steep drop so please be cautious when visiting here. The owner of the property rears animals such as chickens and ducks so visitors can pre order local produce.
