Nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, with mountains, reservoirs, beautiful canals and views for miles, this converted barn is a delight. Half a mile from the village of Talybont on Usk, potter to the local shop and pub with ease. Brecon lies in one direction and both Crickhowell, with its range of independent shops and the foodie haven of Abergavenny lie in the other. The Brecon and Monmouth Canal with its pretty towpath runs nearby, or explore the River Wye and the River Usk. Walk from your door and up the lane to the foothills of the Beacons or perhaps head downwards to the country pub. Explore the local history at Tretower Castle and Court, White Castle and Raglan Castle, or spend a day rummaging through bookshops at Hay on Wye. Set over one level with excellent access provisions for wheelchair users, this superb property offers a light and fresh interior that contrasts beautifully with the original exposed beams and stone fireplace.
