The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay and boasts a breakfast table for the family to dine. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, one double with superb views and one twin with en-suite shower room. For keen walkers take a hike up the Coniston Old Man and for those looking for a gentler walk, head down to Conistion Water where the famous Donald Campbell attempted the water speed record in ‘Bluebird’. Here you can also enjoy a variety of activities on the water, take a trip on the Steam Yacht Gondola or a spot of wild swimming. The village itself has a number of Lakeland pubs including The Black Bull Inn that also has its own award-winning Brewery – The Coniston Brewing Co. Further afield, Skelwith Bridge and the Langdales are just a 5 mile drive away and the village of Elterwater with its famous pub, The Britannia Inn.
