A further bedroom holds two charming single beds, complete with quality linen and blankets, with both rooms served by the shower room, perfect for a refreshing morning rinse. Guests have full access to the spectacular Branklyn Garden, created in the 1920s by Dorothy and John Renton, cultivated with love to be a home to over 4,500 species of plants from all over the world. Now run by the National Trust for Scotland, you can wander the grounds and marvel at the picturesque scenery. Perth was Scotland's ancient capital for five centuries and is still a hub of activity today; situated on the banks of the River Tay, you can delight in riverside walks before stopping in one of the local cafés or tearooms, discovering fabulous bars and restaurants in the evenings too.
