Head to medieval Shrewsbury with its castle, Severn theatre, independent shops and eateries. Country lovers and sportsman alike will find plenty to do in the area, boating or fishing on the river, join the its myriad of footpaths and cycle routes in Welsh Mountains or in the Shropshire Hills, try hang gliding on the Long Mynd or the Golf Club is a must for enthusiastic golfers. Nearby National Trust properties include Attingham Park, Benthall and Powys Castle. There is always something to see and do nearby for all ages. The main entrance opens into an elegant hall with double height space, the house has been created with comfort in mind from the underfloor heating and wood burner to spacious utility and decadent bathrooms.
