Only nine miles away is the market town of Richmond with its cobbled, narrow streets, a weekly and monthly farmers’ market where you can source local goods, plus wonderful architecture and the castle walls to explore. Within reach are many attractions and places to visit, including Constable Burton Hall Gardens, The Forbidden Corner, Thorp Perrow Arboretum, the ruins of Castle Bolton and the mediaeval town of Middleham, with its Norman Castle.
