A quintessentially English cottage within this lovely countryside village is situated just 6 miles from Thirsk. The surrounding area is popular with walkers and cyclists, with well known trails running close by, including the Cleveland Way and the Coast to Coast long distance footpaths. The market town of Northallerton is approximately 5 miles away, with a wide selection of shops and eateries, as well as the city of Ripon, with its 7th century cathedral, museums, famous racecourse, cobbled market squares and quaint alleyways lined with cosy tearooms and lovely eateries, and from here, you are within easy reach of the picturesque countryside of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The spa town of Harrogate and the historic cathedral cities of York, Durham and Newcastle are all within an hour's drive.
