The first-floor bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements as a double or twin room. The open plan living area on the ground floor is very sociable, with its well-equipped, beautifully designed kitchen with quarry tile flooring and woodburning stove with stone surround, the dining area opens into a comfortable lounge area with two sofas. Wirksworth is a charming and busy market town and is one of the oldest in this part of the Peak District, where you can find an award-winning restaurant, fine real ale pubs, independent shops that sit alongside two butchers and St Mary’s, a magnificent parish church.
