The immediate area has been classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the world famous Jurassic Coast between Lyme Regis and Charmouth is a 24 mile drive away. Similarly, the pretty seaside towns of Sidmouth and Exmouth are also well worth a visit, and you will also be ideally placed for exploring the stunning cathedral city of Exeter which boasts a wide selection of shops and eateries. There are a number of National Trust properties in the area well worth a visit too including the Killerton Estate, while food fanatics are well catered for with the area being known for some great produce and a choice of well renowned pubs close by.
