While away the hours on the nearby Tamar Lake, a nature reserve right on your doorstep, which is perfect for countryside walks. The Upper Lake offers coarse fishing, water sports, a lakeside walk and a cafe. The North Cornwall Coast is also just a short drive, which is ideal for surfing and sunbathing, or alternatively the lovely cliff top walks which offers spectacular views across the Atlantic coastline. The North Cornwall town of Bude provides shopping and leisure facilities together with a wide selection of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and the nearby market town of Holsworthy also offers a selection of amenities and weekly farmers' market.
