The former stable block of a grand town house, which has been in the owner's family since 1847, you can enjoy the best of both worlds here: outdoor space and freedom within the heart of the town. A first floor, three-bed apartment (two doubles and a single, with a further pull-out single available on request) with a cosy wood burning stove and well-equipped kitchen, it has a comfortable, light and airy sitting/dining room which overlooks the garden, paddock and woods, all of which are available for you to explore. You can even spend the summer nights in the paddock in a beautiful Shepherd's Hut, which is available to book for the duration of your stay. This bolt hole is an ideal base for exploring Norfolk. Holt Railway Station is only fifteen minutes' walk where you can take a ride on the Poppyline steam train to Weybourne and Sheringham, or connect up with the train to the cosmopolitan City of Norwich. Holt has its own 100-acre Country Park and Kelling Heath, with its pretty woodland trails, very close by. Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. Synthetic bedding provided. Travel cot and high chair available on request - please bring your own cot linens. If required, please request for the trundle bed in Bedroom three to be set up on booking - an additional cost of £65 applies. The Shepherd’s Hut in the paddock is available for your stay for an additional £125. (Please request on booking). Experienced sailors can, by arrangement with the owner, have access to a boat berthed at Morston. The property is accessed via a shared driveway.
