Set at the end of picturesque Dove Dale enjoy the Tissington Trail with its cycle hire, Matlock Bath's little Switzerland gorge, Peak Rail's steam trains puffing along the Derwent Valley. However, remember to leave some time aside to enjoy Chatsworth House and gardens, visit the dramatic Derwent Valley 'Dambuster' dams and even experience the heart stopping thrills on the latest rides at nearby Alton Towers.
