Boasting spacious rooms and homely décor, Glanfa benefits from an enclosed garden and is just a short walk from both the town's amenities and the beautiful two-mile beach. Enter through the front door, leaving shoes in the neat shoe storage and hanging up coats on the hooks in the hallway, before heading straight for the sitting room to relax. Discover a large room with bay windows offering a view up to the headland, with two sofas, two armchairs, a TV and a piano in here for evenings spent together with your loved ones, with a woodburning stove settled in the fireplace. A kitchen/diner boasts a small breakfast table and ample appliances for rustling up feasts for the group, with a handy utility home to a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a walk-in shower, with a curtain for privacy, it's ideal when coming straight in from the beach. Enjoy formal dinners in the dining room, perfect when celebrating an occasion with a special meal or takeaway. Dine alfresco at the beer garden style picnic bench on a summer day, with storage for bikes out here in the shed, along with a separate enclosed lawn for children to use when playing games, kicking a ball about and enjoying the fresh air. A cloakroom completes the ground floor, while upstairs a family bathroom serves the bedrooms with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. Two bedrooms lie on the first floor, including a master bedroom boasting a double bed, a cot and a vanity basin unit, with further views of the headland from here, with the second room home to a double bed too. Take the stairs to the second floor to find the two twin bedrooms here, perfect for the children to settle down in, with the front room providing the best view of the house over to the sea. See the beautiful waters up close with many days spent walking down to the sandy shores of Nefyn Beach in the summer sun, being less than quarter a mile away; you can enjoy this hidden gem's clear blue waters, stunning bay views, and explore the rock pools and paddle with your little ones. The tumultuous history of the peninsula and the sea can be discovered within the Llyn Maritime Museum, offering an insight into how life has evolved on this rugged outcrop. Keen golfers can head to the excellent course at Nefyn Golf Club with beautiful sea views from every hole, although not for the faint hearted as due to the exposed headland position! The amenities of Nefyn include a few takeaways, a hotel with a bar and restaurant, a brewery with its own bar, and several local shops. Venture to the southern side of the peninsula to visit the sailing centre of Pwllheli, hosting regattas throughout the year when the town comes alive with sailing buzz, with an impressive marina and more excellent shops, pubs and cafés to visit. Head to the tip of the peninsula for a trip to Bardsey Island, a nature reserve, or simply enjoy stretching out on the beautiful beach at Aberdaron. Abersoch is a delightful small fishing village, near to another excellent beach known locally as Hell's Mouth. The Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach for hikes, mountain biking and a range of activities, as is Criccieth with its castle and the delightful seaside resort of Porthmadog.
