For walkers, The Norfolk Coastal Path and The Paston Way footpaths are accessible from the house. Norfolk s fine medieval churches proliferate. The medieval city of Norwich and its magnificent cathedral, one of the largest in Europe, has a historic heart with many museums, independent shops, pubs and eateries. The county s great halls, Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall, Oxburgh Hall, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall are open to the public. The oldest footsteps in Europe were discovered on the coast in 2013 at Happisburgh and the West Runton Wooly Mammoth found in 1990 is the largest complete skeleton known. This lovingly restored 18th century former country house really does have absolutely everything you would need from a property. The porched entrance hall leads into the hallway where there is a home office room on the right which is a great place to set up your laptop and catch up on emails and there is also a wet room which you can dry your dogs in and hang up your wet suits. The large dining room is a perfect place to have a meal in a more formal setting, the table seats up to sixteen guests where you can enjoy some fine dining and good conversation together. The large kitchen/breakfast room where ten people can seat and perhaps enjoy a hearty breakfast or a light lunch. It has all you will need to prepare a meal and consists of a range cooker, gas hob, microwave combi oven, double American fridge/freezer complete with an ice dispenser. Leading from the kitchen, a utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading back out you then arrive in the sitting room area which has a wall mounted Smart TV along with three sofas and armchairs providing enough seating for all guests. There is a full bar area that although closed off is available for guests at an additional cost. There are double doors leading through to a games room consisting of a pool table, table tennis table and a pinball machine, so for those of you who have a competitive streak or simply want to enjoy some light hearted competition, this is the ideal place to unwind. Leading from the games room is a large function room complete with a dance floor, DJ booth and commercial kitchen that can be hired at an additional cost if you are hosting a large party or function. Completing the layout on the ground floor in this special property are two bedrooms with their own unique decor and garden views consisting of a twin bedroom complete with TV and your own en suite shower room with shower and WC and the other bedroom is a double room with TV and en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading outside the beautiful grounds, landscaped by Humphrey Repton are perfect for relaxing in and guests are able to roam the many acres on the estate comprising of hills and woodland which leads to the local village, golf course and the beach beyond and last but by no mean least you have a six person hot tub which has been purposefully raised on the hill behind the property to provide guests with the most amazing backdrop views of the woods and coastal views.
