Leave the car and meander into Visit England accredited Hardwick Park to stroll around the lake and woodlands and enjoy a coffee. Spend a fun day at the popular Sedgefield Racecourse known for its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and try 'footgolf' at the nearby golf centre, both of which are within walking distance. Visit Durham City for the spectacular cathedral, castle, peaceful river walks, shopping and lunch.
