Pretty as a picture, this archetypal Norfolk flint cottage has charm in abundance; cosy, warm, full of character and quietly tucked away in a peaceful loke, It's the perfect bolt hole for a relaxing getaway at any time of the year. 3 Chapel Cottages is a delightful mid-terrace Victorian cottage approached by a south facing courtyard garden.The downstairs is perfectly balanced with a delightful beamed sitting room to the front, flooded with natural light and warmed by a wood burning stove, and a well-equipped country style kitchen with dining area at the back, again with a beamed ceiling, and a stable door to open on a warm day. On the first floor are two inviting bedrooms - a good-sized double bedroom to the front of the cottage, which retains its original cast iron open fireplace, and a twin room with an attractive exposed brick wall. Both rooms share a shower room, which sits between the two. The sunny garden at the front of the cottage is fully enclosed with picket fence and shrubs, and is a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet drink, or two, and bite to eat. Docking is a bustling village, with excellent local amenities - a supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, and pub - and also hosts a weekly farmers' market with stallholders including a baker, fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer and a stall selling cheeses, cakes and preserves. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk coast, with its long and fine sandy beaches, the nearest being at Brancaster - just four miles away - and is a great base for getting out and about exploring the villages of rural Norfolk too.
