Just outside the town, Braunton Burrows provides a lovely route for scenic seaside walks. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoiled for choice with the nearby South West Coast Path, taking you across the spectacular headland to Baggy Point, and with Exmoor National Park within easy reach by car, you ll not be short of activities to fill your day. Just a short drive away, Saunton Sands boasts an expansive sandy beach, and further afield, sand, sea, and surf can be enjoyed at Woolacombe, Croyde, and Putsborough. Other places of interest nearby include Barnstaple, with its market and high street shops, Exmoor National Park, and the seaside resort of Ilfracombe.
