Accessed via a traffic-free footpath, you can leave your car, parked on the road side or in the Sandy Cove car park, with a permit provided by the owner, and admire the peaceful setting and picturesque sea views on your way to the property's entrance. Upon entering the property, there is a charming sitting room with a warming gas fire, where you can relax for the evening on the sofa with your favourite film on the Smart TV. Moving through the well thought-out cottage, there is a contemporary kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm, or prepare a picnic, including a dishwasher. Adjoining this there is a dining room with a feature wall of exposed bricks and great table space to gather all your loved ones as you toast a wonderful holiday and enjoy your evening meal, whipped up by the chosen chef. Heading upstairs there is a pretty king-size double room, with oak furnishings and bright colours throughout, making it a great place to escape to at the end of a long day, with storage to unpack all your personal belongings, as well as a double room, which has amazing views of the sea and fabulous attention to detail with the wall mirror and prints, making it feel very homely. To finish the first floor, there is a bathroom with both bath and shower, so guests can choose how they want to fresh up for their day exploring, or how they want to wind down in an evening, before climbing up to the second floor, where there is a twin room beneath the eaves and exposed beams, decorated with blue furnishings to compliment the beachfront location. Outside there is a small patio to the front of the property with a bench, where you can enjoy the sea views with your morning coffee, while the rear courtyard is a great spot for alfresco dining and an evening under the stars. Newlyn is the third largest fishing port in England and is built up around a magnetic harbour and a captivating sandy beach, with art galleries, shops, bars, eateries with immaculate views, the popular Escape Rooms and the gorgeous surrounding parks and gardens. Just a short drive away is the town of Penzance, also boasting an idyllic harbour, shoreside eateries, bars, galleries and a sandy beach, as well as the bustling promenade and the historical battery rocks. For a more active holiday experience, walk along the South West Coast Path or cycle the level Mousehole to Marazion cycle path, where an abundance of wildlife and flora can be enjoyed, including basking sharks, dolphins and grey seals.
