The charming market town of Howden is nearby where you can walk the ancient streets and browse the many quaint shops and cafes. Beverley is also within easy reach, offering historic sites, such as Beverley Minster, and a wealth of shops and eateries. Just a short drive away is the medieval city of York, a great day out for all of the family. Visit the National Railway museum, York Art Gallery and the popular Jorvik Viking Centre. For a day at the beach, explore the wonderful Yorkshire coast or, for keen walkers and cyclists, head up into the Howardian Hills AONB and North York Moors.
