In an excellent position for accessing many of North Cornwall’s beauty spots, Treperran is a charming holiday cottage situated in the village of Trebetherick, between the two popular coves of Polzeath and Daymer Bay. Fabulously styled and finished, this sweet, spacious holiday home accommodates six people in three bedrooms.
On arrival, you will immediately switch to full ‘holiday mode’ and relax completely as you enter this calm oasis, decorated in creams and pastel colours. Head to the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, where the space and light pouring from the connected conservatory will instantly impress you. Settle yourself on the comfortable seating in the conservatory, where you can enjoy divine views over the rolling countryside, perhaps whilst tucking into a delicious afternoon tea! Head upstairs for another chance to relax with a first floor sitting room, complete with woodburning stove for the colder months, and further elevated views over the valley which are beautiful to observe in any weather or season. Treperran offers you flexible sleeping accommodation, with two ground floor bedrooms and one first floor bedroom. After a comfortable and refreshing night’s sleep, why not head outside and enjoy an alfresco breakfast on the patio table within the beautiful, extremely spacious garden. Arguably, one of the best ways to experience this pretty coastal area is on foot, so don your walking boots and take to the South West Coast Path, leading you to Daymer Bay or Polzeath, which are under a mile in either direction. For more fun, drive eight miles to the fishing village of Port Isaac and explore the shops and harbour, or head to the National Trust site Doyden Castle at Port Quin, around 4 miles away. Whatever your plans for your North Cornwall holiday might entail, Treperran is a wonderful, comfortable base for everyone, ranging from the most relaxed of visitors to the most intrepid of explorers.
Trebetherick straddles the Polzeath to Wadebridge road and extends west to Daymer Bay and northwest to Trebetherick Point, a rocky headland in the estuary. Daymer Bay with a sandy beach provides safe bathing for holidaying families and is also popular with windsurfers. Brea Hill located at the south end of Daymer Bay makes for an energetic walk for all. Polzeath is only half a mile away with a selection of shops and restaurants around a sandy surfing beach. The water sports haven of Rock is only 1 ½ miles away with a ferry running frequently between Rock and Padstow. The area has several coastal walking opportunities, and is close to St Enodoc's championship golf course. Rock also features a collection of shops including a delicatessen, butchers, and bakers, however for more extensive shopping facilities the town of Wadebridge is approximately 8 miles away.
