The Pennine Way is a great to explore and passed by some of the peaks in the area including Black Hill, Black Chew Head and Bleaklow, the latter home to an aircraft wreckage memorial. Saddleworth Golf Club is close by and is perfect for any keen golfers seeking to practice their swing, whilst keen anglers can look forward to some quality fishing in the rivers Derwent, Wye and Dove, known for their rainbow trout, wild brown trout and grayling.
