You are greeted to the property with a private driveway which fits two cars, and a front garden which boasts lawn, patio and furniture to enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air. Inside the property there is a welcoming sitting room with an open fire and if you can take your eyes off the beautiful views, there is a television to watch your favourite shows. The small village of Butterknowle has two pubs, whilst a short drive into Cockfield, you will find another pub and a shop for any essentials you may need, as well as a selection of takeaways. The nearby market town of Barnard Castle offers a 16th century castle and bridge which makes for a scenic spot, as well as a number of museums and galleries, and the Deepdale Nature Reserve which has the River Tees running through. In the opposite direction, you can discover the bustling city of Durham where you can explore the Roman Cathedral and Norman Castle, as well as enjoy a good shopping spree! Also in the area there is the striking Raby Castle, where you can explore its treasures and tapestries, as well as the deer park to get in touch with nature with a lovely farm shop tea room to enjoy.
