There are views of the sea from the front door; inhale these then step down inside where you can find the kitchen and breakfast bar area. There is plenty of space here to rustle up a feast and enjoy it together. From here you can also walk into the bathroom which features a spacious walk in rainhead shower for that touch of luxury. Continue through from the kitchen and step up into the living area with wide sofa and rocking chair from which to sit, relax and watch TV if it takes your fancy. The light comes from the the two large windows and door which leads you outside. Alternatively, step up the little step ladder into a raised nook area, where you can lie down and read a book. When your day has come to a close, take to your bespoke-designed bed which is built into The Chalet and offers an alcove you can cosy up in. Recharged in the morning, step outside into the private back garden area and step up to the top of the tiered area to get your fix and take in the views of the sea. There are hooks for hanging up your wetsuit and space to put boards there too, while a picnic bench provides outdoor seating too. There is easy access out from The Chalet into the village of Port Isaac where you can meander down the main lane to the harbour, taking in the traditional buildings, shops and there's even a local art gallery along the way. Stop in the cafes to refuel and skim stones down on the slipway at the harbour. If heading out of the village, there are an abundance of local villages to explore, both on the coast and countryside surrounding Port Isaac. Perhaps stop at Travethan Farm Shop in St. Endellion to stock up on your local produce and in summer, pick strawberries from the fields on your way to the beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. There are local watersports to enjoy at Rock; why not try your hand at water skiing or indulge in a sailing course while on holiday. For a more laid back pace, hire paddleboards or kayaks to explore the Camel Estuary. Head north from Port Isaac where the coastline gets more rugged and walk the South West Coastal Path, taking your binoculars to spot rare birds and wildlife. Whichever way you explore from The Chalet, there is plenty for an active or relaxed holiday, returning at the end of the day to the comfort of your stylish apartment.
