The historic market town of Colchester and the cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds are just a short drive away, as is the historic buildings, Kentwell Hall and the National Trust Melford Hall. A little further afield is Thetford Forest where thrill seekers will find high wire experiences along with stunning walking and cycling tracks, along with Newmarket racecourse which is a good day out.
