The Nanhoron Arms Hotel is a short walk away if you don’t fancy cooking, the restaurant is open to the public and serves a good range of home-cooked meals and a wonderful Sunday carvery too, as well as having two bars. The famous Ty Coch Inn, down on the beach at Porthdinllaen is nearby, and the whole of the Llyn Peninsula is just waiting to be explored. The cottage is ideally situated for golfers too; Nefyn Golf Club is 2 miles away, where there is a view of the sea from every tee! Visit Plas yn Rhiw (NT) with its beautiful ornamental gardens. Porthmadog, home to the famous Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and the Italianate village of Portmeirion, are short drives away. Horse riding can also be found nearby, ride through quiet country lanes enjoying the beautiful scenery, a perfect way to experience and explore places you wouldn’t necessarily enjoy or see any other way. The towns of Abersoch and Pwllheli are close by, plus within driving distance are the stunning Snowdonia National Park and the wonderful Isle of Anglesey. There is plenty to offer all the family, all year round.
Set atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, the pretty coastal town of Nefyn also features a glorious two mile stretch of sandy beach which makes it an excellent location for a family holiday.
