Close to Carnoustie, stop by its championship golf course or if you re a water sports enthusiast, enjoy windsurfing, canoeing and sailing in the large shallow sandy bay. Visit the fantastic Crombie and Monikie country parks (both within 7 miles) with woodland walks and water sports to enjoy. Travel 14 miles to the Broughty Ferry or the historic town of Arbroath, famed for the Arbroath Smokie, with its splendid abbey, harbour, sandy beaches and stunning sandstone cliffs; or visit the vibrant city of Dundee with its excellent shopping and leisure facilities including the V&A museum. Explore the splendid Lunan Bay, nearby Angus Glens and Cairngorms National Park, within 25 miles, perfect for all outdoor pursuits.
