The village is fortunate to have Batsford Estate and Arboretum close by and here you can enjoy a walk around the beautiful grounds any time of the year. From Easter to November there is a very good tea room and the Cotswold Falconry Centre is open. In the village is Bourton House with its 16th-century Tythe Barn, which opens its gardens to the public weekly throughout the summer months. The heart of England Way passes through the village and along with other footpaths, provides a pleasurable way to see the countryside around this pleasant area.
