The famous Constable Country is 3 miles away with Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale, and historic Colchester is close by, famous for its cobbled streets, castle and zoo, and has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within reach are Ipswich, Chelmsford, Orford, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe, or enjoy the beach at Clacton-on-Sea.
