Cromer carnival is held here the third week of August. The neighbouring coastal town of Sheringham, 4 miles, has a beach, Splash leisure pool, Poppyline Steam Railway, cliff-top golf course, shops, cafés and restaurants. Blakeney Quay is just 13 miles away, or a little further, Holkham Hall and beach at 23 miles. The RSPB Bird and Nature Reserves at Cley, Morston and Blakeney are all within an easy drive.
