Take in the shops or wander down to the canal and take a boat up to the pubs that cannot be reached by car, or for the more energetic, hire a bike and cycle the route instead. For children there is Crealy Adventure Park which is a great day out. For walkers who want to walk the Jurassic Coast, this is a great base as Sidmouth is just 28 miles away.
