Believed to be a former barn conversion dating back to the 1700s, the property is named after the Whibberley family who lived here for the last 200 years. Located in the picture postcard village of Ashford-in-the-Water, which stands on the banks of the beautiful River Wye in the heart of the Peak District National Park, you are surrounded by spectacular countryside. Ashford’s bridge is one of the most photographed in Britain and the village houses a beautiful church which holds relics dating back to 1200s. There is a local pub serving food, a tea room, a restaurant and a well stocked village shop, boasting the best home-made pickles in Derbyshire.
