Chalgrove is ideal for families or friends wishing to get away from it all and have a relaxing, refreshing country break. It is well-equipped, spacious and tastefully decorated throughout, and the original stone barn dates back to 1822. Set above the Usk Valley, the property affords wonderful views and there are miles of walking and cycling routes. The owners have sympathetically renovated the barn using the original Welsh stone, complemented by Welsh slates, handmade oak doors and beams throughout - all of which make this a very warm and comfortable home for your holiday. There is large, welcoming, open plan living area with beautiful views across the untouched farmland towards the peaks of the Brecon Beacons. A well-equipped kitchen leads from the dining area, which has a large table to seat 8. There’s a further snug room with chunky sofas for quiet relaxation or watching TV or a film, and this room opens out onto the patio which is ideal for a barbecue. The bespoke oak staircase leads you to four lovely bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, and a family bathroom. With the ground floor shower room, that makes a total of four bathrooms!
