There are large gaps on the stair balustrade extra care to be taken.. This detached house has been beautifully restored throughout and provides a wonderful valley setting, reached via an unlit lane, offering far reaching countryside views. Outside there is a terraced garden offering different areas to explore over many levels and with wonderful views. Conygre is at the end of a quiet lane with the owners living nearby. Footpaths can be accessed immediately from the property and there are many walks that can be enjoyed across the Stroud Valleys. Less than a mile away is the Bohemian town of Stroud, with its award winning farmers market selling a great variety of local produce. Many towns and villages are within a 25-mile radius, including the Roman town of Cirencester, historic Bath and Royal Tetbury, and famous for racing and festivals, Cheltenham and Gloucester with its magnificent cathedral. The area is abundant with National Trust properties and other attractions such as Berkeley Castle and Slimbridge Wild Fowl Trust.
