Living room: With wood burner, 19" Freeview TV and tiled floor. Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and tiled floor. Larder: With freezer. Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed. Bedroom 2: With twin beds and leading to... Bedroom 3: With twin beds. Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and washing machine and tumble dryer. . Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The woodland is often used for shoots and must not be used by guests. This is also a breeding site for pheasants and it is of utmost importance that dogs are kept on a lead at all times, even within the cottage garden, which is not fully enclosed. This property has a security deposit of £250. . If Hansel and Gretel’s cottage had really existed, Keeper’s Cottage would have been it! Nestled alone in private woodland, on a working farm, this wonderful little hideaway really is quite magical, and a great find as it is a quiet retreat that’s still close to the coast and all the action. From the moment you first pass through the trees and pull up to Keeper’s Cottage, you will see why so many guests book to return again and again. Simply furnished to retain its charm it really is just what you need to getaway from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Close by you will find the seaside towns of Sheringham, with its bustling market and popular shingle beach, and Cromer, home to a famous Edwardian seafront, promenade, wide sandy beach and pier. Take the coast road between the two and pass through pretty seaside villages. In fact, travel east or west along this stretch of coast and you will find a string of coastal villages with great places to eat and drink, marshes, beaches and quays, all ready to explore. History buffs will be spoilt for choice with The Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections close by, the National Trust properties Felbrigg and Blickling Hall and Sandringham House, Holkham Hall and the medieval city of Norwich are all within easy reach. The National Trust Rhododendron and Azalea walk at Sheringham Park, in season, is one of the country’s finest. After a day’s sightseeing head back to Keeper’s Cottage for a glass of something in the garden or by the wood burner and a great night’s sleep. Beach 3½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
