Living room: With wood burner, Smart TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs and children’s games. First Floor: Bedroom 1: With double bed. Bedroom 2: With double bed. Bedroom 3: With twin beds. Bathroom: With freestanding bath, double shower cubicle and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the wood burner included. Nestled within the pretty hamlet of Patchacott, this charming cottage is the ideal base from which to explore the delights of both Devon and Cornwall. Set on the owner’s beef and sheep farm and adjoining their cottage, Greenpastures sits peacefully within glorious rolling Devon countryside within half an hour’s drive of the Cornish border. This is a stunning location enjoying views of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor on a clear day. It has something to offer everyone: fishing, golf, clay shooting and horse riding are available locally and walkers and cyclists will be spoilt for choice with the abundance of scenic routes. Lovely country, woodland and coastal walks abound, and for cycling enthusiasts, the nearby Granite Way and Tarka Trails are not to be missed, with the Camel Trail a little further afield. Dartmoor National Park, a must for nature lovers is right on the doorstep to explore. The North Devon and North Cornwall coasts boast many fantastic sandy beaches and hidden coves, ideal for surfing or exploring the many rock pools. The market towns of Hatherleigh, Holsworthy, Launceston and Okehampton are a short drive away and there are many quaint country inns and restaurants in the area to have a break from the cooking. For family fun Crealy, Trethorne Leisure Park, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks are close by, and there are numerous National Trust properties in the area.
