Find out more at the Carlisle’s Tullie House Museum and Carlisle Castle. There is plenty to explore from Hadrian’s Wall, the great border city of Carlisle, historic castles and good shopping. There are fantastic walks and cycleways right from your door with Kershope Forest only a couple of miles away and both the Lake District and the Eden Valley just a short drive and excellent seasonal salmon fishing in the River Esk.
