Perfectly located in the peaceful hamlet of Limestone Brae, near Carrshield, and nestled within the Pennines AONB, Woodbine Cottage is a detached 17th century cottage and former Quaker meeting house, and it is in the ideal location for guests wanting to enjoy a quiet holiday or cosy romantic break. It is surrounded by miles upon miles of beautiful, natural and unspoilt landscapes, perfect for families and guests who enjoy the great outdoors. Woodbine Cottage offers access to an abundance of established public footpaths, bridleways and cycle paths, with the Coast to Coast route and the Pennine Way both nearby. The smaller towns of Alston and Allendale both lie between 8 and 9 miles away, offering guests the opportunity to explore the local area, whilst enjoying one of the many cafes and eateries that provide excellent quality local produce. The popular market town of Hexham is a mere 30-minutes drive away and offers an excellent race course, golf course and a high street lined with tea shops, cafes and excellent restaurants and pubs.
