Come and enjoy some peace and tranquillity at Woodlands Retreat, nestled on the estuary banks of the Milford Haven Waterway, the largest estuary in Wales and one of the deepest natural harbours in the world. Its sheltered tidal waters provide an abundance of wildlife and a multitude of birdlife which include shelduck, teal, wigeon, curlew and redshank and you may even spot a seal. Woodlands Retreat is the ideal location to unwind with fantastic views over Blackbridge estuary with an ever changing picture postcard view. Enjoy some of the 186 miles of sublime Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from your doorstep with many beaches, coves and rugged cliffs ready to be explored. This really is the perfect location to unwind and discover all the delights West Wales has to offer. This delightful semi-detached cottage is attached to the owner’s home and has been thoughtfully furnished and finished to a very good standard, complete with focal wood burner for those cosy nights in with a glass of wine and a good book. On the first floor enjoy a good night’s sleep with your own four poster bed complete with en-suite shower room, alongside a separate powder room with a basin and toilet. A 20-minute walk and you can be enjoying the delights of Milford Haven marina with its restaurants specialising in fresh fish along with craft and coffee shops, here you can relax with harbour views and fresh sea air. Travelling south you will find the National Trust managed Stackpole Estate with Grade I listed landscape, Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broadhaven South Beach all from this idyllic location. The historic market towns of Narberth and Tenby are both within a 40-minute drive which really does make Woodlands Retreat a perfect base to explore this area.
