Set in a quiet residential area, yet close to the wide, sandy beach of West Runton, Sea Glimpse is a much-loved, detached holiday home with everything you need for a relaxing seaside break. It is just a short walk from the beach, with shingle at high tide, but soft sand and an array of rock pools when the tide is out. Less well known than the famous ones of Sheringham and Cromer, it provides a more relaxing setting. The coastline is littered with pretty seaside towns and villages offering great places where you can eat and shop, as well as having beautiful beaches, marshes and quays. Visit Cromer, with its Edwardian seafront and famous pier, or for a change of pace, head to the Norfolk Broads and hire a day boat or join a cruise. West Runton itself has a shire horse centre, and close by you will also find Amazonia Zoo, several museums, the Thursford Collection (collection of steam engines, organs and fairground attractions), the Mucklebugh Collection (a military museum), numerous National Trust properties and stately homes, not to mention walks and cycle routes galore, and lots of bird watching opportunities.
