Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river and pond 10 yards away and there are the ruins of a paper mill within the grounds. . Mill Cottage is perched on a magnificent spot alongside the meandering Western Cleddau trout river and is within the grounds of a former 18th century three-storey paper mill, believed to be the largest one in west Wales, with the ruins and river bridge still to be seen. Enjoy an early morning walk on the public footpath that runs past your doorstep and along the river, here you can discover lots of birdlife, fauna and flora, and for those keen fisherman offers private fishing on this salmon and trout river from within the grounds. Mill Cottage is nestled just outside the historic market town of Haverfordwest, where you can find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants as well as Haverfordwest Castle where you can step back in time and discover some history of the area. Mill Cottage is adjoining the owner’s home and offers a characterful cottage with open plan galley style kitchen and dining room leading out to a courtyard area, ideal for relaxing with a good book or enjoying a glass of wine on an evening taking in the summer air. On the first floor the spacious master bedroom has been thoughtfully furnished with solid oak flooring and oak staircase with en-suite bathroom making this a great base. Locally you can discover lots of beaches and coastal walks with 186 miles of Pembrokeshire Coast footpath where you can delve into Nolton Haven, Druidston, Newgale and even Solva all within easy reach. The coastline here really is truly stunning with dramatic cliffs, picture postcard coves and golden sandy beaches waiting to be visited. Beach 7 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 300 yards.
