On the ground floor you’ll find a cosy living room with a wood burner, perfect for a cosy night in front of the fire watching a movie after a long day on the fells. There’s so much choice that you might decide to save on washing up and not cook at all! There are great walks along the river which prove very popular with tourists and locals. You can visit nearby attraction Wordsworth House, the birthplace of William Wordsworth, then feed the ducks in the memorial gardens, or Kirkgate Arts if you fancy experiencing some performing arts on your holiday. The popular town of Keswick is 14 miles away and can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.
