The cottage has been recently renovated and blends very stylish yet comfortable accommodation with contemporary services and attractive architectural features. Corbridge is a quaint little village superbly located in the Tyne Valley for outdoor pursuits, with excellent walking, fishing and golf available. Corbridge combines a range of interesting historical sites with stylish boutiques, restaurants, tearooms and pubs. This historical village was founded on its present site in Saxon times and Roman stones were used to construct many of the village buildings, including the church. Today, the streets house a range of innovative and interesting shops. A wander along Front Street to St Mary’s Chare will take you down to the river bank, where you can enjoy the attractive views from the 17th century bridge. In the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, an area with a rich heritage to explore - Vindolanda and Housesteads Roman Fort Museum are only the tip of the iceberg in the area. Just 3 miles west is the popular market town of Hexham dominated by its majestic abbey. Alnwick Castle and Holy Island (Lindisfarne) are a picturesque drive away.
