With plenty of attractions locally and an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants, guests will find this an excellent base. It’s ideal for golfers with a choice of great courses nearby. A short drive will take you to the neighbouring villages of Ambleside and Grasmere which are set in the heart of Wordsworth country. The location is superb, just a 5 minute walk down to Windermere centre and a 20 minute walk to the lake at Bowness, where you can enjoy a boat trip.
