There is a public footpath just down the lane, as well as the Kenfig National Nature Reserve with its great lakes and sand dunes. Visit Bryngarw Park with its stunning scenery, riverside walks and wild flowers in abundance, or for some retail therapy, head over to the Bridgend Designer Outlet, roughly 4 miles away, or Cardiff city centre, with its excellent shopping, museums, theatres, restaurants and nightlife, a 30-minute drive away.
