This location is sublime, being equidistant between Alnwick to the east and Rothbury to the west, both 6 miles away. The historic market town of Alnwick offers a wide array of shops and restaurants and is home to Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden and Barter Books, all well worth a visit. Heading west into the Simonside Hills brings you to the picturesque little town of Rothbury, which straddles the banks of the River Coquet. This is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists and the home of Cragside House.
