Watersedge affords a splendid elevated position next to the lower waterfalls flowing down into Gayle Beck. From the living room or outside terrace you have an uninterrupted view of the water as it flows past. The living/dining area has a wood burner, perfect to return to after a day of exploring. A 10-minute walk away is the bustling market town of Hawes, here you will find a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants offering a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. En-route is the famous Wensleydale Creamery just a short walk from Watersedge and the visitors centre and coffee shop a must visit! Aysgarth Falls, The Forbidden Corner and Bolton Castle are on the list of things to do. Lake Semerwater is nearby and offers activities such as coarse and wild brown trout fishing, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing or simply a lovely place to take a picnic on a summers day and sit and enjoy the views and wildlife.
