The layouts have been designed to offer privacy, yet make the most of the beautiful far reaching views with floor-to-ceiling windows. Bi-folding doors from the sociable open plan living space, open out onto the spacious decked areas which just grace the edge of the lake, truly bringing the outside in. For those who fish, the lake is well stocked with carp, and to finish you’ll find a private hot tub, perfect for use in all weather, offering complete and utter relaxation. The Forest of Bowland was once described as the ‘Switzerland of England’, and covering 312 square miles means you’ll find ample walking, riding and cycling nearby. The location is convenient for exploring both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks which can both be reached in around an hour, and for those with children, Blackpool and the UK’s largest indoor waterpark, Sandcastle Waterpark, are just 30 minutes away. Locally Goosnargh is around a 10-minute drive, and is a delightful village where you must try both Goosnargh Gin and Goosenargh Cakes. Bilsborrow also 10 minutes, is set on the Lancaster Canal and home to waterside cafés, pubs and restaurants. Finally around 20 minutes away, on the site of an old quarry, is Brockholes Nature Reserve. Here set over 250 acres you’ll find a network of trails and hides, not to mention fantastic views overlooking the River Ribble. Beach 22½ miles. Shop 4¾ miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
