On the ground floor is a generous living/dining room, which has a wood burner and patio doors leading to a decking area with a spectacular open view over working farmland and the River Forth, and on to the hills. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you would need for a long and enjoyable family break. Upstairs, both bedrooms are of generous proportions. Those using the main master bedroom will enjoy a spa bath and a balcony with a similar, but better view, to that from the living room. The second bedroom, which could be a twin or double, also has an en-suite but this time has a shower room. Bankhead Farm is right in the heart of central Scotland, excellent for accessing the surrounding attractions, towns and cities. With Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling all easily accessible by car within an hour, the location is superb. The nearby Royal Burgh of Linlithgow serves as a hub of history and recreation. Local bars and restaurants, Linlithgow Palace and the loch are all great to spend some time around. There are a range of local activities nearby including golf at the nearby Oatridge Course where you can pay ’n’ play. There is a train station in Linlithgow, which has express links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh with links throughout the rest of the country. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
