Ricky’s Nest is set within the grounds of the owners’ recently built home which was completed in 2018. Situated down a private driveway just off a quiet country lane within the village of Llanteg. Locally there is a host of walks to discover, and guests have use of the owners’ paddock to exercise their four-legged friends. A 15-minute walk and you can be exploring the picture postcard coastal village of Amroth with sublime clear blue waters, sea front pubs specialising in home cooked produce and fresh line caught fish. From Amroth you can take the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Footpath which covers 186 miles of iconic Welsh coastline. Travelling west, follow this sublime coastline to Wiseman’s Bridge where you can enjoy some local ales before venturing onto Coppet Hall Beach, a beautiful, secluded bay. There is an award winning restaurant built overlooking the bay with a truly fantastic menu and views to match. A little further along is the coastal resort of Saundersfoot and then the famous walled town of Tenby. The property is a wing of the owners’ home, and has been finished to a high standard throughout with a modern and spacious, light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living space. In the evening enjoy cooking that special meal in the well-equipped, galley style kitchen or step outside and soak up the sunshine and dine al fresco with a barbecue on the lawn and watch the beautiful Pembrokeshire sunsets. Locally, the National Trust managed Colby Woodland Gardens really is worth a visit. Wander through the vast gardens within the hidden valley, take in the flora and fauna and uncover the secret garden and be sure to keep an eye out for an array of wildlife. Travelling north, the historic market town of Narberth is worth visiting, complete with antique, craft and boutique shops making the bustling town a must see, along with the annual food festival which is held within the town.
